Privacy Policy

This privacy policy explains the information collected through Busy Bead’s configured email-signup service, why it is collected and the choices available for your signup record. It also explains what is included when you contact us directly.

Email signup

Busy Bead invites readers to join the Busy Bead list for project ideas, color inspiration and practical bead-craft tips. The signup form asks for an email address and requires an explicit agreement to receive email updates from Busy Bead.

The current launch setup collects signup details for future updates. Newsletter delivery, confirmation messages and unsubscribe features require separate future configuration and are not part of the current collection setup.

When you sign up, the module stores your email address, a hash used to check for duplicate signups, the signup time, the source page path, the consent wording you accepted and the collection status in the site’s WordPress database. The stored source path does not include query strings or page fragments.

Temporary anti-spam rate records use hashed network identifiers and are periodically cleaned up.

Contact messages

You can email contact@busybead.com with questions about this policy or your signup record. Messages sent to this address include the sender’s email address, message and any attachments the sender chooses to provide. This information is used to handle the request.

Access to signup records

Authorized WordPress administrators can view, export and remove signup records. Signup records are also included in WordPress personal-data export and erasure tools.

Signup records remain in the database until an administrator removes them or an erasure request is processed.

Your choices

To ask whether a signup record is associated with your email address, request a copy of that record or request its removal, email contact@busybead.com. Please include the email address used on the signup form so the relevant record can be identified.

Busy Bead may link to other websites. Those websites maintain their own privacy information and practices. Review the relevant site’s privacy policy when you follow an external link or provide information there.
